We selected Custom Concepts after considering a number of bids, and we’re so glad we did. This was a whole-exterior project (replacing old siding with arctic white board & batten; painting of non-sided brick, doors. and outdoor fixtures; replacement of roof; repair of damaged/improperly vented areas under old section of roof; new gutters; new trim; replacement of old wood with James Hardie wood under front entrance and back deck overhang; associated electrical work; etc.). The project manager was Danny Harper.
Everything was tight, transparent and professional from the initial bid through project completion. The team worked methodically, with military-style precision, keeping the worksite organized and incredibly tidy, on-budget and within schedule, with final results that exceeded our expectations. They could not have been more responsive or polite, and their experience showed—they were able to spot and solve issues like true pros. Our neighbors were wowed both by their politeness and craftmanship, one commenting how impressed he was with their “meticulous” measurements and on-ladder work.
The bottom line for us was that this difficult project was perfectly executed and we’d hire Custom Concepts 100 out of 100 times.
I had Custom Concepts replace the siding, gutters, trim, and doors on my house and shed that were originally built in 1900. I know this was an incredibly challenging project for the team but the results are stunning. Everyone I worked with from the office staff to the work crews were friendly, patient, and responsive.
Danny was the project manager and he was such a pleasure to work with. He would always be available by phone or email. He also had great suggestions of how to make the house look even better. He came back several times after most of the work was completed to make sure no trash or debris was left on my property.

Custom Concepts Construction a go-to company for siding and windows!! They recently helped me out by taking care of old caulking that was deteriorated and letting water inside during a hard rain. I found Custom Concepts Construction because they were installing new windows and siding for my neighbor and did a FANTASTIC job!! I asked if they could do some minor repairs around my home and they were super responsive and attentive. They went above and beyond and I would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in siding and window. I should mention they have done multiple jobs in our neighborhood and everyone has been very pleased. They are an A++ company to deal with!!
Mike Swank, Katherine Harper and Danny Harper make up an amazing team over at Custom Concepts. Exceptional attentiveness to us, our questions, and project possibilities. We started our inquiry with them awhile back, considering Hardie siding + insulation + windows. Mike came over in person to view the property and was very knowledgeable about old homes (ours is 1915). He provided a very detailed quote with all costs clearly laid out, and he was attentive to numerous questions we had about preserving the look of our windows and other house details we did not want to lose. He also provided multiple estimates for various siding options. Ultimately, we ended up going with just a major window replacement project at this time (12 windows replaced). I researched and got quotes from several companies, for both siding and windows. I was worried about going with one of the big, national window companies, because I wanted proper installation on a house where nothing is square, and I had heard horror stories about poor installation on old houses (plus the quotes I got didn’t seem honest or straightforward with the other companies). Custom Concepts is a bit more expensive than the big window companies I got estimates from, but the price is still well-aligned, and the service and quality of work were beyond worth it. They installation team was exceptional too. And the cleanup during and after the project was outstanding. We will be back when we are ready for our next exterior project. The close up pic was of the impeccable caulking and fit of our windows. Our old house feels much less drafty.
